Spawn production
Specialization in spawn production
The vegetative part of upper mushrooms is composed by a group of cylindrical pluri-cellular filaments called hyphae. The mycelium is the combination of hyphae, that make up a tangled mess, and can not be defined as a true tissue.
When mycelium is produced, a vegetation multiplication of the mushrooms is done. To accomplish proper maintenance and reproduction of the mycelium of the different species of mushroom, the proper environment for growing must be provided and also be conducted at a clean room environment, to avoid contamination.
The production of commercial mycelium (spawn) requires great specialization. If you wish to commence mycelium production or improve your processes, our knowledge and experience is at your disposal.
