What is it?
Hyphae (fine protoplasmic filaments) are one of the threadlike elements of the mycelium that are part of the vegetative nature of mushrooms.
The first step in mushroom production is the mycelium vegetative reproduction. In order to conduct an appropriate maintenance and reproduction of the mycelium in the different species of mushroom, we must provide an adequate medium for growth and work in clean rooms (free of contamination).
The production of commercial mycelium requires specialization.
