The filter is approximately 12 inches / 30 cm from the bottom of the bag. In the XLS-B19″ bags it is at 26.5 cm / 10.5 inches. The pouch material can be autoclaved. The side gussets mean that when the bags are filled, they can remain in the upright, “stand-up” position. They fill to between 50-60% of their volume. The bags are opened by hand or by automatic opening devices. Unicorn bags are flexible at any temperature and tolerate agitation well. Suitable for the production of substrates for mushroom cultivation.
